After the signing process is complete, you can download the signed documents and their corresponding signing log reports (audit reports) through various methods. The audit report records the complete signing log, meeting compliance and archiving requirements.
1. Downloading Signed Documents and Audit Reports
After the signing process is complete, you can download the signed documents and their corresponding signing log reports through the following four methods.
1.1. Method 1: From the Completion Page
- After the signing process is complete, the system will automatically redirect to the completion page;
- Click View Document to enter the document preview page;
- Click the download button on the right side of the document viewer to download the signed document and signing log report.

1.2. Method 2: From the Email Attachment
- After the document signing is complete, the system will automatically send notifications to all recipients;
- Click the attachment in the email to directly download the complete signed documents and signing reports.

1.3. Method 3: From the Email Notification Link
- In the signing completion notification email, click View Document to enter the document viewer;
- Click the download button on the right side of the document viewer to download the signed document and signing log report.

1.4. Method 4: From the Nota Sign Dashboard
- Log in to the Nota Sign Dashboard;
- Click Agreements at the top to enter the envelope management page;
- Find the target envelope and click the View button on the right to enter the envelope details page;
- Click the Download button in the upper-right corner to download the signed document and signing log report.

2. Merge Signed Documents with Audit Reports
If a user wishes to obtain both the signed documents and the audit report simultaneously after signing is complete, they can configure the settings below to merge the signed documents with the audit report. Note: This feature only applies to envelopes that do not require digital signatures.
- Click [Admin] and find [Sending Settings] in the left-hand menu.
- Locate the [Document Settings] module at the bottom of the page.
- Configure [Merge multiple signed documents into a single file upon completion]:
- Unchecked: Keep files separate. Signed documents and the audit report will exist as independent files.
- Checked: Merge for archiving. The system will automatically merge all signed documents and the audit report (if permissions allow) into a single PDF document.

- If the user selects “Merge files” and there is only one final document, the system will download the PDF file directly.
- If the user selects “Do not merge,” the system will automatically package and download a ZIP archive.
- Additionally, users can still download the standard audit report separately in the [Signing Log].
2.1. Special Cases
Attachments uploaded by participants (documents not subject to signing) are not controlled by the “Merge Configuration” mentioned above. They will always remain as independent files, and the receiving rules remain consistent with the existing logic.
3. Attach Audit Report to Completion Email
Beyond the four methods of downloading signed documents and audit reports, users can also choose to attach the audit report to the signing completion notification email. To ensure data privacy and optimize the recipient experience, users can determine the distribution scope of the attached audit report (whether to include recipients and senders) to prevent sensitive audit data from circulating in unnecessary emails.
- Click [Admin] and find [Sending Settings] in the left-hand menu.
- Locate the [Document Settings] module at the bottom of the page.
- Configure [Attach audit report to email notification upon completion].
This option controls whether the audit report is included as an attachment in the automatic “Signing Completed” notification email sent when the signing process ends.
Users can select one of the following three modes from the dropdown list according to their needs:

- Always: The sender and all recipients (including CCs) will receive the completion email with the audit report attached.
- Sender Only: Only the sender will receive the email with the audit report attached; emails sent to recipients and CCs will not contain the audit report.
- Never: Emails sent to the sender, recipients, and CCs will not contain the audit report.
If the audit report is attached to the email, users can access it directly from their mailbox after the signing concludes.
