Personal Digital Signature Management
What Is a Digital Signature
A digital signature is an electronic authentication technology based on encryption algorithms, used to verify the identity of the signer and ensure that the document content has not been altered after signing. In Nota Sign, digital signatures are implemented through encryption verification using digital certificates issued by trusted third-party Certificate Authorities (CAs). This ensures that electronic documents have the same legal validity as handwritten signatures or company seals.
Digital signatures ensure that:
The document source is authentic and the signer’s identity is verifiable.
The signed content cannot be tampered with; the signed file can be independently verified by third parties, preventing forgery.
Typical Application Scenarios
Digital signatures are widely used in formal electronic documents requiring identity verification and anti-tampering validation, including:
Corporate contracts, agreements, and official correspondence;
Internal documents such as procurement, approvals, tenders, and financial reports;
Government and institutional document circulation;
Overseas remote signing and cross-border electronic contracts.
